Continuing Education Requirements
First active renewal requirement: 30-hour Advanced Practices Course, 30-hour Real Estate Law Course, 30 hours of approved continuing education, including a 3-hour Core Course. The hours must be completed after the date of first licensure.
For subsequent renewals: 30 hours of approved continuing education, including a 3-hour Core Course. A minimum of 15 hours must be completed within 24 months of your renewal date. You may also submit up to 15 hours of unused continuing education that was completed within 48 months of your renewal date.
Your broker’s license will expire 2 years after it is issued.

As of May 1, 2012 students are no longer required to bring a Certificate of Education Document (CED) to the testing center. If you have completed any of the required prelicense courses prior to May 1, 2012 and have not already scheduled your examination appointment, you will not be allowed to schedule your exam until the following steps have been completed:
AMP will enter the required prelicense information from the CED within 48 hours and you will receive an email confirming your eligibility to schedule your examination.
You will have four (4) hours to complete the exam. Be sure to attempt to answer every question. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass the real estate exam. Your score will be available immediately. A passing score is valid for one year.
