Questions about the SAFE MLO Test? OnCourse Learning, formerly ProSchools has the answers you need!
On April 1, 2013, the National Test began including Uniform State Test (UST) content. The UST is now the fifth test topic area. It consists of 25 questions, which brings the length of the National Test to 125 questions, 115 of which are scored. Adoption of the UST is optional for states, and for those states that do adopt, the UST replaces the state-specific exam.
The Stand-Alone Uniform State Test is no longer available to mortgage loan originators. The only option is to complete the National Test that includes UST content. The OnCourse Learning, formerly ProSchools pre-licensing course catalog includes a Stand-Alone UST exam prep product and a National + UST exam prep product. All OnCourse Learning, formerly ProSchools 20-hour courses prepare individuals for the National component of the exam.
As mentioned, many states have decided to adopt the Uniform State Test, and those states will no longer require the state-specific examination. For information on each state?s adoption plan, visit the?Uniform State Test Adoption Table.
