Wyoming Real Estate Exam Information
Wyoming real estate license applicants must pass a computerized exam administered
by AMP Assessment Centers.
You cannot schedule an examination appointment with AMP until you receive confirmation of eligibility from the Wyoming Real Estate Commission. Once you receive your eligibility confirmation and have completed the education requirement you may contact AMP to schedule your exam. AMP will require the following to schedule an examination:
- Personal information - legal name, address, phone, SSN, date of birth
- Exam specifics - exam type, preferred date, and
test center location
- Examination fee- The examination fee is $125.
For more information, click
here to view AMP ’s website, which includes exam reservation guidelines,
and a list of all AMP test center locations and hours of operation.
To gain admission to the assessment center, you must present two forms of identification, once with a current photograph. Both forms of identification must be current and include your name and signature. You will then be required to sign a roster for verification of identity. Then a brief online tutorial will familiarize
you with the computerized testing system before you answer 100 multiple-choice
questions.
You will have 3 1/2 hours to complete the exam. Be sure to attempt to
answer every question. A minimum score of 75% is required to pass the
real estate exam. Your score will be available immediately. If you pass the exam, you will receive your score report and instructions for applying for a license. Examination results are forwarded to the Wyoming Real Estate Commission to be used as one of the criteria for determining eligibility for licensure. If you do not receive a passing score, you must reregister by contacting AMP. If you do not pass the examination within 12 months of the first attempt, you will be required to submit a new application and fees to the Wyoming Real Estate Commission.
