ProSchools, a national education provider of mortgage courses, offers nine online courses for mortgage brokers and loan originators.
ProSchools, a leader in real estate and mortgage education, offers nine online continuing education courses for Washington licensees, including the required ethics course for first year originators and first year designated brokers.
After becoming licensed, Washington mortgage brokers and originators must fulfill annual education requirements. Licensees have until December 31 to complete the education. Requirements for loan originator renewal includes successful completion of two approved courses. Mortgage brokers are required to take three approved courses each year.
All licensees are required to take an approved ethics course in their first year as a loan originator. A mortgage broker must also take an ethics course during their first year acting as a designated broker. Each ProSchools course is approved by the Washington Department of Licensing. Licensees cannot repeat the same course in the same or successive years to meet annual continuing education requirements.
"More states like Washington are requiring continuing education for mortgage licensees in an effort to combat mortgage fraud,' says John Vogler, Vice President of Sales for ProSchools. "ProSchools is committed to helping Washington mortgage brokers and loan originators meet this regulation. ProSchools courses are designed to conveniently meet Washington's requirement by allowing students to print out a certificate of completion immediately upon finishing their course.”
ProSchools offers online mortgage, real estate, and insurance education. All courses are designed to meet state license requirements.
