ProSchools Courses meet the Virginia requirements for necessary mortgage education.
Online Mortgage Education Training Available in Virginia from ProSchools
Initial and continuing mortgage education now offered in Virginia from ProSchools
Virginia requires all loan originators, processors, underwriters and all other staff that have access to Virginia consumers’ mortgage loan files to complete 18 hours of education on state laws (4 hours), federal laws and regulations (12 hours), and fraud (2hours).
ProSchools' comprehensive mortgage course is designed to meet Virginia’s initial education requirement, while its continuing education courses have been created to ensure all covered employees meet their annual 7 hours of Virginia mortgage continuing education. Of those 7 hours, 2 hours must cover Virginia law and 1 hour of mortgage fraud prevention.
"ProSchools’ courses are designed to ensure all Virginia loan originators meet their annual requirements with ease,” says Deanne Gillock, Regulatory Manager for ProSchools. "More and more states like Virginia require education for loan originators in an effort to combat mortgage fraud. ProSchools is committed to helping Virginia mortgage professionals meet these annual requirements."
