ProSchools Receives Approval* to Offer Mandated Tennessee Long Term Care Course
Effective July 2008, previously licensed producers may continue to sell long term care products, but must complete a one-time training course by June 30, 2009 and ongoing training every 24 months thereafter. Anyone not licensed as of July 1, 2008, must complete the initial course before beginning to sell long term care insurance products. The one-time training course must be no less than 8 hours and the ongoing training must be no less than 4 hours.
ProSchools, a leader in insurance education, has developed the Long Term Care Initial 8-hour certification course designed to meet new requirement for Tennessee insurance producers selling Long Term Care. ProSchools' approved course is titled "Tennessee LTC Initial 8-Hour Course".
