South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs Approves ProSchools’ Online Mortgage Broker Courses
ProSchools Receives Approval in South Carolina to Offer Three New Mortgage Courses

New mortgage courses developed by ProSchools meet continuing education requirements for South Carolina mortgage brokers and loan originators.

New courses approved include “Mortgage Lending Ethics: How to Live with Yourself,” “FHA Loans Explained,” and “ABCs of Mortgage Lending.”

South Carolina law requires all originators and brokers to complete eight hours of continuing education annually, prior to license renewal.

Mortgage brokers must renew their license by September 30, while Loan originators must renew by March 31. The renewal application must be completed in its entirety and submitted to the Department.

"ProSchools courses are designed to meet South Carolina’s continuing education requirement," says John Vogler, Vice President of Sales for ProSchools. "More and more states like South Carolina are requiring education for mortgage professionals in an effort to combat mortgage fraud. ProSchools is committed to helping South Carolina mortgage brokers and loan originators meet this regulation.”
