ProSchools is Approved by the Department of Consumer Affairs to Offer Mortgage Education

2008-09-12 01:45:20 - South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs recently approved three mortgage education courses for ProSchools.

ProSchools, a leader in online mortgage education, has developed comprehensive mortgage education courses for South Carolina, designed to meet the South Carolina continuing education requirements. Courses cover Truth in Lending Act, Credit Scoring, and Federal Mortgage Lending Laws.

South Carolina law requires all originators and brokers to complete eight hours of continuing education annually, prior to license renewal.

Mortgage brokers must renew their license by September 30. The renewal application must be completed in its entirety and submitted to the Department.

ProSchools is approved by the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs as a mortgage education provider.

"ProSchools prides itself in providing the required training that our customers need in a convenient format," says Steve O'Toole, Regulatory Director for ProSchools. "More and more states like South Carolina are requiring education for mortgage brokers and originators, in an effort to combat mortgage fraud. We are committed to helping South Carolina mortgage professionals meet these regulations in order to renew their mortgage license."

ProSchools offers online real estate education, insurance education, mortgage lending education, and property appraisal.

With over 50 years experience developing real estate, insurance, and mortgage lending courses, ProSchools is also an approved mortgage provider in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Iowa, Illinois, Georgia, Maine, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Nevada, Florida, Texas, Colorado, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.
