ProSchools Receives Approval in Oregon to Offer Four New Mortgage Broker Courses

ProSchools, a national provider of mortgage broker education, has received approval in Oregon for four additional continuing education courses.

ProSchools, a leader in mortgage broker education, has developed new mortgage broker courses, designed to meet continuing education requirements for Oregon mortgage lenders and loan originators.

New courses approved include: “Ethics: How to live with Yourself “, “Federal Mortgage Lending Laws: Don't Get Fed Up”, “Truth in Lending Act: Tricky Trigger Terms” and “ABCs of Mortgage Lending.”

Oregon mortgage professionals are required to complete 20 hours of continuing education every 24 months, starting from the “notification date” (when the Oregon Division of Finance and Corporate Securities Division is first notified that the loan originator is working as such).

"ProSchools courses are designed to meet Oregon’s continuing education requirement," says Stephanie Packineau, Marketing Manager for ProSchools. "More and more states like Oregon are requiring education for mortgage professionals in an effort to combat mortgage fraud. ProSchools is committed to helping Oregon mortgage lenders and loan originators meet this regulation.”
