ProSchools Helps Mortgage Brokers Beat Education and State Exam Deadline

ProSchools, a national provider of real estate and mortgage education, offers the required mortgage education for Colorado mortgage brokers. All current mortgage broker licensees need to complete 40 hours of approved education and pass a state exam by January 1, 2009.

The Colorado Division of Real Estate regulates the licensing of mortgage brokers. New applicants wanting to obtain a Colorado mortgage broker license are required by Colorado law to complete the required education and pass a state exam prior to applying for a mortgage broker license.

ProSchools' mortgage 40-hour broker course is approved and meets Colorado’s education requirement and includes exam prep. The course covers the mandated Colorado Mortgage Residential Mortgage Lending, Colorado Mortgage Lending Laws and Rules, and Colorado Mortgage Lending Business and Trade Practices.

The national testing provider, PSI, administers and grades the Colorado mortgage broker license examination. There are 160 total questions on the exam. To schedule their exam, applicants contact PSI.
