Colorado Division of Insurance Approves ProSchools as Insurance Provider

ProSchools Gets Approval by the Colorado Division of Insurance to Offer Online Insurance Education

ProSchools, a national provider of insurance education, has developed comprehensive prelicense courses for the state of Colorado. Courses are designed to meet the mandated Colorado insurance producer requirements. Approved courses consist of Life, Accident & Health, and Property & Casualty.

All insurance producer applicants must complete minimum hours of prelicense education, including 10 hours of Principles of Insurance, Legal Concepts and Regulations, and Ethics Training. In order to be licensed, applicants must also pass the Colorado insurance exam administered by Pearson Vue, a national testing firm. Upon completing their training, candidates schedule their exam by calling Pearson Vue to reserve an exam date and time.

The Colorado Division of Insurance regulates the licensing of insurance producers. ProSchools comprehensive online insurance courses are designed to meet the Colorado education requirement as well as prepare students to pass the state exam.

"ProSchools’ online courses are designed not only to meet the hourly requirement, but to also fully prepare students to pass their insurance exam,” says Gary Sternberg, Director of Insurance for ProSchools. "With the popularity of online training, we find more and more people want to study at home. We are committed to helping Colorado insurance applicants pass their state exam the first time. We know that passing the state test is what really counts.”
