To work as a mortgage loan originator in Pennsylvania, you need to:

  1. Demonstrate that you are eligible and will obtain and maintain a bond in the amount of $100,000.
  2. Maintain a minimum tangible net worth of $100,000.
  3. You must obtain a criminal record check when applying for licensure.

Pennsylvania Mortgage Lending License Exam Information

Pennsylvania law does not require a mortgage lending license exam prior to becoming licensed.
