Meet Iowa Mortgage Broker License Requirements & Pass The State Exam With ProSchools  

Iowa Mortgage Broker License Requirements
You’re required by Iowa law to register annually with the State of Iowa Division of Banking.

To work as a mortgage broker or mortgage banker in Iowa, you need to:

  1. Completed, signed and notarized Uniform Application. Include check or money order for the application fee, payable to the Superintendent of Banking in the amount of $90.
  2. Complete a Waiver for Completing Criminal History Background checks.
  3. Complete FBI Fingerprint cards.

Iowa Mortgage Lending License Exam Information

Iowa law currently does not require an examination to become a mortgage broker or mortgage banker.
