To renew your Tennessee real estate license (salesperson or broker), you’re required by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC) to complete 16 hours of continuing education every two years. Four hours of the total 16 hours of CE credit must be in a TREC-approved “core course” topic.

New licenses issued July 1, 2005 or later will expire two years from the actual date of licensure. This new rule does NOT affect anyone licensed prior to July 1, 2005; you will still need to renew before the last day of even-numbered years (2006, 2008, 2010, etc.). |
