This course covers 3 hours of Federal laws and regulations topics required by the S.A.F.E. Act. This law requires all mortgage loan originators nationwide to complete, at least, "3 hours of approved education on Federal laws and regulations."
This course focuses on: Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA). Each law is broken down and explained, including purpose, prohibited actions, notification and disclosure requirements, and complaint and enforcement procedures.
