New Utah Mortgage License Renewal Requirements
If your license was obtained prior to October 1, 2009, to renew a license in 2010 on active or inactive status an individual must complete 14 hours of certified Mortgage Continuing Education Courses, including 2 hours of ethics and 3 hours of federal/state mortgage lending laws. Thereafter, you must complete 8 hours of NMLS-approved Continuing Education each year.  If you were licensed after October 1, 2009, you must complete 8 hours of NMLS-approved Continuing Education each year. The deadline for all licensees to complete continuing education is December 31.
