ProSchools also offers a Home Study ‘waiver’ Program . The waiver program includes all of ProSchools study materials, but is entirely self managed and available only to those that can demonstrate prelicense education courses are unavailable to them (due to distance from an approved school or financial hardship). To apply, you must file a written request for permission to undertake a self-study program to the Office of the Insurance Commissioner. You must qualify for home self study before purchasing the home self study course. If you receive a waiver from the state, contact ProSchools to enroll in the Home Study Program. How to enroll
Enroll by phone at 1-800-452-4879 or register online below and we'll call you to determine which date and location you plan to attend. Individuals seeking only a life insurance license, disability insurance license, or are licensed in another state and need to attend law must enroll in those courses by calling 1-800-452-4879 ext. 105.

Home-Study Option (with waiver)
ProSchools offers a comprehensive online home study program, available to those that received a waiver from the state. In order to receive a waiver, you must contact the Office of Insurance Commissioner. The Office of Insurance Commissioner provides home self study as an option to those that can demonstrate prelicense education courses are unavailable to them (due to distance from an approved school or financial hardship).

After enrolling, you’ll need to come into ProSchools to receive your textbooks and begin logging in your hours (students that receive a waiver from the state are not required to log in hours at ProSchools). Your textbook acts as your roadmap for completing the coursework, and highlights the information most critical for acing the Washington state insurance exam.
