Individuals seeking only a life or health insurance license attend 3 days of class. Those seeking only a health license will attend Monday through Wednesday and those seeking only a life license will attend Wednesday through Friday.

Effective January 31, 2008, all life and health insurance producers that wish to sell or continue selling LTC insurance coverage must complete a one-time Long Term Care training course consisting of no less than eight hours of training, and complete a minimum of a four-hour "refresher" course every two years thereafter. The initial certification course must be completed no later than January 31, 2008.
