ProSchools creates opportunities
and promotes change.

At ProSchools, we’re all about creating opportunities through new learning experiences and continuing education. It’s what we do for a living, and it’s a value we carry forward into our community through volunteer work.

Check out ongoing service projects among ProSchools employees, and learn some ways you can help, too.

Collecting food for the local food bank
ProSchools staff spent a weekend packaging and labeling bulk food for needy Oregon/SW Washington families.  A highlight noted by staff was seeing how much could be accomplished in just one day when people work together! Find a food bank near you.

Building, painting, plumbing, fence work, and laying flooring with Habitat for Humanity.
Over the years staff have put on their work gloves, grabbed a hammer, and spent a Saturday helping Habitat for Humanity.  Each housing project offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities for both the skilled and non-skilled, creating lots of fun ProSchools memories. Find your local Habitat for Humanity chapter.

Providing funds to build a basketball court for an orphanage in a remote village in Kazakhstan.
ProSchools had the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of 200 children by providing gravel and cement to build a basketball court for an orphanage in Southern Kazakhstan.  Funds also purchased backboards and basketballs for the kids. You can contribute.

for surgery.

Ngoc, a 10 year-old girl from Viet Nam, was born with spinal muscular atrophy, a crippling disease. ProSchools matched donations to help bring Ngoc to the Shriners Hospital in Portland, Oregon where she received surgery and medical care. You can help too.

Cleaning and yard work for an animal shelter.
Volunteers weeded, cleared brush, and helped clean a local animal shelter. When leaving, staff enjoyed seeing what a difference their hard work made at the shelter. Find your local shelter, and see how you can help.
