Patrick Sheahan – President, Chief Executive Officer

As the professional training industry continues to evolve with new licensing and certification requirements, advanced technology, innovative learning systems and techniques, and a renewed enthusiasm for corporate training, Patrick Sheahan is committed to an effective, modern, multi-industry solution for career and corporate training.
 
CEO of OnCourse Learning since 2011, Patrick brings extensive financial, operational and business development experience to the mission of the organization. Joining OnCourse Learning in December 2008 as CFO, he has spent several years influencing the strategic direction of OnCourse Learning to promote collaboration between brands, leverage the latest training technologies, and create products and services for differentiation and growth in the marketplace.
 
Prior to joining OnCourse, Patrick worked in a variety of roles for Dover Corporation for eleven years, most recently as CFO of Performance Motorsports, Inc. and General Manager of their Wiseco Performance Products subsidiary. Before Dover, Patrick worked for KPMG. Patrick is a CPA and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a BS in Accounting from Marquette University and an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management

Matt Geske- Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Matt was hired as CFO in August of 2011 to fill the role vacated by Pat upon his promotion to CEO.  Matt has over 13 years of experience in a wide range of financial and operational roles crossing a wide range of industries.  Matt has a BA in Accounting from the University of San Diego, an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Wisconsin Madison and is a licensed CPA.

Prior to joining OnCourse learning, Matt held a number of finance and operational roles at Fiskars Brands Inc., Falk Corporation and most recently was the Global Supply Chain Controller for GE Healthcare in Waukesha, WI.

Michael Shepherd- Chief Learning Officer

Michael joined ProSchools in 1998 as Director of IT and eLearning, and focused his initial efforts directing the migration of ProSchools’ product line to CD Rom and building ProSchools IT infrastructure. After seeing the emerging potential of the internet, Michael led the research and development of ProSchools Learning Management System and the migration of ProSchools product line to online delivery. Michael has additionally served as Director of Course Development and led the development of ProSchools website. Michael assumed the role of Chief Learning Officer in 2012.

Prior to joining ProSchools, Michael directed product development for Professional Achievement Systems, a provider of multimedia authoring technologies tailored to professional education.

After graduating from college, Michael co-founded Interactive Training Technologies, a company focused on multimedia software application training. He successfully directed the early acquisition and development of ITT’s technology platform, supported early business planning and funding, and later led their course development and product support.

Michael holds a BS in Business Information Systems and Asian Studies from the University of Puget Sound.
 

Deanne Gillock- Director of Regulatory 

Deanne began her career at ProSchools 20+ years ago, working in customer service and sales. During the course of her career she has been an integral part of ProSchools’ growth in product and delivery methods.  From customer service and sales, Deanne moved into supervising and managing customer service, sales, and the instructional support team.

In recent years, Deanne has played a role in determining ProSchools’ growth strategy for entering new markets, and is currently ProSchools Director of Regulatory.  Her duties include ensuring that ProSchools courses meet regulatory specifications for multidisciplinary national and statewide regulatory agencies.

Deanne holds a B.A. in Education from Bethel University, St. Paul, MN. 
 

Ryan Brooks- Director of Sales

Ryan joined the ProSchools team as Director of Sales in December of 2011.  Ryan is responsible for driving revenue growth in each of the industries that ProSchools services, as well as increasing the size and productivity of the sales team.    
 
Ryan is an experienced sales executive with over 8 years in the training industry.  Prior to joining ProSchools, Ryan was VP of Sales for a soft-skills training company near St. Louis, Missouri.  It was here that Ryan started his career as an entry-level salesperson and worked his way up to VP of sales.  Ryan credits much of his success in both sales and leadership to the application of the Socratic Method, which he continues to develop through practice and various types of training, including books like “Spin Selling” and “Socratic Selling.”
 
Ryan holds a B.S. in Sports Management from Quincy University in Illinois.
