Licensing Exam Information

Nevada real estate license applicants must pass a computerized license examination administered by PSI, a national testing firm. To schedule an exam, you can call them toll-free at (800) 733-9267 or visit www.psiexams.com. You are encouraged to reserve your exam date at least three to four business days prior.

To schedule an exam, PSI will require the following:

  1. Personal information - legal name, address, phone, SSN, date of birth, and birth place
  2. Exam specifics - exam type, preferred date and test center location
  3. Failing score report (if retaking an exam)
  4. School Code, located in the Real Estate Salesperson and Broker Candidate Information Bulletin, and type of schooling.
  5. Exam fees paid in full

For more information, read PSI ’s complete State of Nevada Real Estate Salesperson and Broker Candidate Information Bulletin, which includes details of all licensing requirements, exam reservation guidelines, and a list of all PSI test center locations and hours of operation.

Upon arriving at the test center, you’ll need to show two forms of identification with at least one being a valid form of government issued identification which bears your signature and photograph to the test administrator. Then a brief online tutorial will familiarize you with the computerized testing system before you answer 120 multiple-choice questions (80 national and 40 state-specific).

You will have three hours to complete the exam. Be sure to attempt to answer every question. A minimum score of 75% is required to pass the real estate exam. Your score will be available immediately. A passing score is valid for one year.
