OREA eLicense to launch on January 9th

Over the last 3 years the Oregon Real Estate Agency has been working hard to create an online licensing system that offers licensees quick, efficient service. Beginning January 9, 2012, OREA will debut their eLicense system. This online license management tool allows Oregon real estate licensees to conduct most business with the Agency at your own convenience.

All licensees will receive an e-mail with login instructions and a link to eLicense on January 9. Licensees will also have access to eLicense from the Agency’s website, www.rea.state.or.us. It will be possible to change your password, print your license or update your address. Even if you don’t have a renewal or other business to complete, OREA encourages you to log in and look around.

The following license activities will be conducted through the Agency’s eLicense system:

* Apply for a license
* Check your license application status
* Renew your license
* Update address, e-mail and phone number
* Legal name change
* Print your license
* Transfer and affiliate a license
* Activate or inactivate your license
* Manage clients’ trust account information
* Register a business name
* Register a branch office
* Close a registered business name
* File a complaint
* Request a certified license history

Licensees should watch their e-mail inboxes for important information from the Agency.
