Principal Broker License Status Change by December 31, 2010

Update on the BASS Course and becoming an Oregon Principal Broker.

Things to know:
  • Starting January 1, 2011, to become a Principal Broker, applicants will need to take a Principal Broker Exam in addition to the BASS course. Currently most applicants DO NOT need to take a license exam.
  • ProSchools has run several successful promotions, letting brokers know of the advantages of taking the BASS course now.
  • IMPORTANT detail: the broker needs to complete the course and apply for the Principal Broker license prior to January 1, 2011, not just complete our course.
If you have any questions about your current license status in Oregon, please contact the Oregon Real Estate Agency. The link that is provided will take you to their forms and publications page.
