$2000 grants, through The HOME Sweet Home Program (HSHP), are available to qualifying Oregonians to assist with both down payment and closing costs on the purchase of their first home. The program received $100,000 from Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) to help 50 Oregonians with their purchases and works with a buyer’s lender, who must be a member of the Oregon Bankers Association.
Oregon Association of REALTORS®& Oregon Real Estate Agency Co-sponsor September Event
On Tuesday, September 2nd, the Oregon REALTORS® and the Oregon Real Estate Agency are presenting a three-hour education program. Leaders at the Real Estate Agency discuss major changes to the Agency’s licensing system as well as an update on the 2011 Oregon CE requirements. Real Estate Commissioner Gene Bentley will moderate the program, “Your Real Estate Agency on the Cutting Edge – the Agency goes Digital.” Join them at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland and receive three (3) hours of CE in Real Estate Law & Regulation.
