How long must you wait to retake the SAFE Test?

There has been some confusion over how long a loan originator must wait to retake one of the SAFE Tests – National or State Component. It pays to study and be prepared!  Read more from the NMLS on  retaking a failed test.

If you finish your NMLS course but your provider doesn’t have an exam prep for you, or if you had your education certified and now you just need to pass the SAFE Test, make sure you study before your big day! As you may have heard by now, it’s a difficult test, and even those that have been in the mortgage industry for a long time agree that you have to study.
