ProSchools is open 7am - 2pm (PT) this Friday, New Year’s Eve. The big question: how busy will it be that day? Or, how many people are waiting till the last minute to finish up their courses? We promise to do our best to help you, but here are a few suggestions if you are a loan originator still finishing up your NMLS CE courses:
- You must finish your continuing education course prior to midnight 12/31/10. We CAN’T make any adjustments if you don’t get it done on time.
- Don’t wait to start your course that evening. ProSchools is not open, so no one can help you if you have questions or get stuck.
- ProSchools will post all course completions to the NMLS the following Monday. As long as you complete your course(s) prior to the deadline, you are good. NMLS gives providers seven days to report completions, so no worries. They do not expect providers to report a course the same day it is completed, but we’re aiming to be fast.
- If you finish your course on Saturday, January 1, your CE course is no longer good to renew your license for 2010. Sorry, but no excuses. You will need to enroll in a different course – NMLS-approved for “late-CE”. That is another expense and will require additional time to complete the course.
So to summarize: GET YOUR COURSE DONE NOW!
