Between July 30, 2009 and July 30, 2011, 152,622 people have taken the exam and 103,521 have passed it on the first attempt. That’s a 68% success rate.
127,903 people have passed the exam regardless of the number of required attempts. That means 84% of those people who try eventually do pass.
The pass rate percentages for the state component tests are a bit higher.
