A few months ago, I related a story in this blog about the Global Healings Society, a Washington state based “cooperative” that was selling “assurance in the place of insurance.” Click on the link above to read about what this scam outfit has been attempting to do, and then come back to the blog for more. I promised you that I would keep on on this story and let you know what else was going on. Trust me…there’s much more going on!
As far as I can tell, there are now 10 states that have issued cease and desist orders to this pack of wannabe’s located in Puyallup, Washington. The ten states are as follows:
- Florida
- Michigan
- Colorado
- Washington
- California
- Oregon
- Montana
- Nevada
- Kentucky
In addition, even the NAIC has gotten in on the action, and has listed these clowns within their website in the disciplinary actions section. Remember what yer mama told ya…
I have been receiving emails and blog comments from state regulators, the NAIC, several people who have been chumped by these folks, and fellow industry veterans. I have not published most of these comments due to their inflammatory nature and interesting use of language…not exactly PG, if ya get my drift.
Every state regulator that I talk with wants to hear what you have to say, and if you are aware of anyone that has also been scammed by this pack of wolves (and that’s giving the poor wolf a bad name), LET ME KNOW! Have a great weekend!
