Status of State Exchanges and States in PPACA Lawsuits - July 2011

I have been asked numerous times by our readers to explore the status of the individual states with regards to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA; "The Act;" "ObamaCare").  As most are aware, there are a number of legal challenges that have been filed in various states.  As well, many states have taken it upon themselves to "tweak" the legislation in terms of the health insurance exchanges, Medical Loss Ratios (MLRs) and other areas of The Act to best fit and work within a given state's population and needs.  I stumbled across the map below- it's interesting and lends a different view to the issue (courtesy of Bentelligence.com).  Take a look and let me know if you have any comments!
