New Prometric Insurance Test Skewed?

Good morning, PIBers!  There is conversation going on outside the hallowed halls of ProSchools that the insurance examination given by Thompson-Prometric is somewhat, shall we say, off-based?  I am hearing more and more that there are questions on the exam that do NOT appear on the content outline as published, that many questions are phrased in a manner that is nothing short of confusing,  and that there is zero consistency as to the methodology of the test.  Have you found this to be true?  Please read on…So, I am looking for your help!  At ProSchools, we strive to be the most accurate and on-target educational provider in the country.  We have enjoyed unparalleled success in the past, and I want to make sure that we stay that way!  This is where you come in, readers, and there is something you can do for me to help out all that take this examination.  Please share with me and the other PIB readers your test experience by posting a comment that gives me your impressions of the examination.  All is fair game, all comments are appreciated.  Please let me know

  • If you felt that the examination was true to the content outline published by Prometric
  • If you ran into any questions that you felt were biased, poorly worded or just plain wrong
  • Where your difficulties (if any) occurred on the test
  • Scores achieved, and any areas that you feel were not covered adequately in the prelicense material

I will do all that I can to make sure your concerns are addressed on both a state and company level.  Those of you who have worked with me in the past know how committed I am to your success, and this can do nothing but help.

Thank you for your comments and thoughts in advance.  -Gary
