Collecting food for the local food bank
ProSchools staff spent a weekend packaging and labeling bulk food for needy Oregon/SW Washington families. A highlight noted by staff was seeing how much could be accomplished in just one day when people work together! Find a food bank near you. |

Building, painting, plumbing, fence work, and laying flooring with Habitat for Humanity.
Over the years staff have put on their work gloves, grabbed a hammer, and spent a Saturday helping Habitat for Humanity. Providing funds to build a basketball court for an orphanage in a remote village in Kazakhstan.
ProSchools had the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of 200 children by providing gravel and cement to build a basketball court for an orphanage in Southern Kazakhstan. Funds also purchased backboards and basketballs for the kids. You can contribute. |

Matching donations to bring a child to Shriners Hospital
for surgery.
Ngoc, a 10 year-old girl from Viet Nam, was born with spinal muscular atrophy, a crippling disease. ProSchools matched donations to help bring Ngoc to the Shriners Hospital in Portland, Oregon where she received surgery and medical care. You can help too. |

Cleaning and yard work for an animal shelter.
Volunteers weeded, cleared brush, and helped clean a local animal shelter. When leaving, staff enjoyed seeing what a difference their hard work made at the shelter. Find your local shelter, and see how you can help. |

Providing library books for a school in Africa.
ProSchools’ staff pooled their resources and generously donated funds to buy 60 pairs of shoes for children in Ethiopia. ProSchools also donated over 75 easy-to-read children’s books to a school library. You can contribute. |

Yard work and home maintenance for low-income senior citizens.
One of ProSchools’ staff learned about several low-income seniors in the area needing help with household chores and yard work. Volunteers spent a busy weekend doing maintenance projects and getting the yard in shape. |
